A bridge between the two volumes — thin, optional, and reversible.
Two volumes carry this work. Engineering a Beautiful World is the protocol: definitions, procedures, instruments, and stated limits. Inner Direction is the reflective volume: meaning, education, the lived register, and the objections that remain open.
Neither book's argument depends on the other being read. This sheet is a courtesy, not a lock. It exists so a reader can move between the two without being asked to treat the pair as a single system.
From Volume A to Volume B
Volume A specified procedures and tests. It did not argue that those procedures produce a beautiful civilisation or solve alignment.
