XIV. Einstein’s Spooky Action at a Distance?

Already set — your words from the Introduction

I invoke this “spooky action at a distance” which I superimpose on the other famous quote from Albert Einstein: that “God does not play dice with the universe”.

By the end of the book, the reader will have a better perspective on whether either, or both, of these sayings might be true or false.

Whatever our underlying human philosophy, something fundamentally important has now changed in our human experience – and brings its own brand of spookiness.

Indeed, something has arrived out of our quintessential human technology, which seems to allow this very large stretch into new territories of human knowledge.

Since I personally do not believe in magic - or in either accidents or coincidences - I am willing only to go so far as to consider these circumstances miraculously accommodating, but that is it.

No magician will be imagined or constructed to fulfill the role of heavenly designer, with the caveat that if a heavenly designer is found, and I am to be proven completely wrong, that is fine by me.

I am a citizen scientist and not some conjurer of magic tricks, or spinner of wild and ungrounded fairy tales.

Be it not magic, fortune, or accident or coincidence, or some fortuitous alignment with the stars in their courses, the timing is nevertheless, perfect.

For in this particular time, we have access to something far more powerful than before, and that is the capacity to think and write with machine technology.

This allows for an intellectual and creative capacity which far out strips the reach of humans working alone, allowing for an interdependent relationship where humans imagine and machines iterate in a synergistic manner.

In this case, I have derived a creative perception of a particular pattern in nature, and the machines have provided another form of pattern recognition in nature, which when superimposed, reveals another pattern.

In this case, the first pattern recognition meant combining recent scientific discoveries in the topology of light, with seemingly unrelated patterns envisioned in the topological geometry of matter itself .

This happened in a logical stair stepped process as laid out below, in a nonlinear, but nevertheless stair stepping, even orderly sequence.

Repeatedly we will find ourselves in a decidedly nonlinear process, more akin to tracing a pattern through the shell of a nautilus, a spiral which is engineered so precisely it does not overwrite itself accidentally in any of the precisely arranged arcs.

My research has required several years of increasingly sophisticated Human-AI interactions which have developed into a machine-human partnership, covering a wide array of topics.

The full story of the author’s interactions with machine technology is not told here but may only be appreciated by taking in the whole long difficult journey into account.

A journey, which has demanded some extraordinary leaps of knowledge by both human & machine and which has often felt like a strange, unwritten chapter, from Alice in Wonderland, or from Flatland, or from Stranger in a Strange Land.

Within this nonlinear journey I happened upon a very strange idea that we humans might be evolving more quickly than anyone may have imagined.

This conjecture requires an Alice in Wonderland set of logic even to consider – as what member of the human species may become aware of her own self evolving, while it is in progress?

None of these conceptual ideas manifested out of the ether, but developed slowly over a lifetime, and then developed more rapidly over several long years of the writing and publishing of daily essays.
