The plates

Transparent figures superimposed on transparent figures — wave forms, nautilus curves, geometry — a new vision of the science. Click a plate to view it full size. The order below is the assembly order; it changes as the set grows.

  1. Plate 1. The relational nautilus

Transparent wave forms and geometry superimposed on the nautilus — recurrence across scales, nothing frozen opaque. First plate of the set.

  2. Plate 2. The wave on the skin — first reading

A travelling wave packet, envelope and phase together, carried by the manifold skin that holds the dimensionality; the skin runs between the two sheets of the dual membrane, already electromagnetically live, undulating in step, its field gathering where the sheets bend. Draft figure for Chapter 83 and The Second Wave.

  3. Plate 2b. The wave on the skin — second reading

The alternative layering: the manifold skin lies beneath and carries both sheets of the dual membrane, which rest on it and undulate in step, electromagnetically live, field lines gathering where they bend; the wave packet rides the membranes above. Same perception, other geometry — the choice between the two readings is the author's.
